NRMC Veterans Monument and Flag Dedication
Associates, Medical Staff, Board and Community Members
This morning, Natchitoches Regional Medical Center officially dedicated a monument and flag pole to the Veterans of Natchitoches Parish and surrounding communities, who have served our Great Nation since its birth in 1776.
Today, we want to commemorate to all of the men and women of Natchitoches Parish who fought for our freedom, with the dedication of this flag and monument representing to the world our FREEDOM WAS PURCHASED AT SUCH AN ENORMOUS PRICE. This token of remembrance is a small gesture compared to the selfless sacrifices that the men and women, some our family and neighbors, and the countless other fellow citizens whom we will never know paid the ultimate homage for future generations to enjoy the freedoms we sometimes take for granted.
We should all remember and teach our Children that America can only continue to be the land of the free if we remain the home of the BRAVE!
A special thank you to the Lakeview Honor Guard, Parish President Rick Nowlin, Roger Williams, NRMC Board Member and Dr. Bryan Picou for being a part of our dedication ceremony this morning.
On behalf of the entire NRMC family, a SPECIAL THANK YOU to our veterans.
