  • NRMC Launches Partnership with Studer Group Today

With today’s Leadership Development Institute (LDI) held at the Natchitoches Events Center, Natchitoches Regional Medical Center (www.nrmchospital.org ) Administrators and Department Managers officially kick off their strategic partnership with the Studer Group (www.studergroup.com )(SG) in pursuit of its three (3) goal plan.

    • Be recognized by Press Ganey in the TOP 5% of Hospital Customer Satisfaction nationally…judged on how the patient RATE us and RECOMMEND us.

    • Be a TOP 100 Hospital in the United States.

    • Earn the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award within five (5) years.

With the rapidly changing healthcare environment, NRMC needed a proven coach to help the organization achieve its strategic vision. Studer Group® works with healthcare organizations in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and beyond, teaching them how to achieve, sustain, and accelerate exceptional clinical, operational, and financial outcomes. SG works to bring structure and focus to organizations through the creation of cultures in which people hold themselves accountable and help set them up to be able to execute quickly. By installing an execution framework called Evidence-Based LeadershipSM, organizations are able to align goals, actions and processes. This framework creates the foundation that enables transformation in this era of continuous change.

A Passion for Making Healthcare Better: Healthcare people are unique in that we are both scientific and deeply passionate about our work, which is why it's important to connect with both the heart and the mind. Connecting with the mind appeals to logical, data-driven, evidence-seeking individuals, while connecting with the heart is all about passion. The same goes for our patients. We need to connect to the mind by explaining a diagnosis, treatment plan and medication instructions, while also connecting to the heart by providing comfort, reassurance and hope.

Thus partnering with Studer Group Coaches we hope to create an aligned culture that is accountable to achieving outcomes together. Working side-by-side with NRMC, the Studer Group will help to establish, accelerate, and hardwire the necessary changes to create a culture of excellence. This leads to better transparency, higher accountability, and the ability to target and execute specific, objective results that organizations want to achieve. Evidence-Based LeadershipSM (EBL) creates a culture of execution that empowers organizations to respond to new initiatives more quickly and effectively than the rest of the nation.

Natchitoches Regional Medical Center looks forward to being a leader in both healthcare quality and the patient experience.
