Constance Anderson Named Foundation Director
Natchitoches Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Constance F. Anderson, M.Ed. to the position of Foundation Director.
Ms. Anderson joins the leadership team of NRMC with extensive professional experience in writing, producing, public relations and program coordination for educational, commercial, religious, governmental agencies, non-profit and faith based organizations. “This new position was created by the hospital to further support our Foundation with a leader devoting their efforts fully towards mission and philanthropy,” Kirk Soileau, CEO.
In this new role, Connie will work closely with the Foundation Board to develop, plan and coordinate fund-raising events; direct the Foundation public relations efforts; and represent the hospital and Foundation with community involvement and activities.

As a native of Baton Rouge, LA, Connie attended Louisiana State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Education, a Master of Education degree in Educational Media, and post-graduate certification as an Instructional Technology Facilitator. She is an experienced communication specialist with an extensive professional background in education, commercial and cable television; free-lance film, and video production; special event, alumni and public relations coordination; and educational website development.
Ms. Anderson’s professional television and free-lance film/video credits include work for WAFB-TV (Baton Rouge, LA); WMUL-PTV (Huntington, WV); WBRZ-TV (Baton Rouge, LA); the Arts & Humanities Councils from Baton Rouge and New Orleans, LA; the Louisiana State Arts Council; Catholic Life Television; and the College of Engineering, Louisiana State University.
NATCHITOCHES REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER FOUNDATION
The Natchitoches Regional Medical Center Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to providing scholarships for area students who want to pursue a career in healthcare. Since its inception in 1987, the Foundation has providedmore than 120 scholarships totaling more than $300,000 to students in the fields of nursing, radiology, laboratory sciences, and pharmacology.
In 2005 with a $500,000 contribution from Christus Health, the NRMC Foundation was expanded to provide financial resources to area agencies and organizations who are involved in delivering healthcare services and wellness programs to the citizens of the parish. Grant applications are accepted annually and awarded to those initiatives that are in support of healthy lifestyles and CHRISTUS Health’s mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.
