The Signa MR is the most advanced 1.5T MRI system with the fastest scan capabilities and highest image quality. Its imaging capabilities include:

Patient-Centered Care

Focused on patient-centered care, the Signa Artist Evo offers patients increased comfort and shorter scan times. Its large 70cm bore provides more patient space, reducing claustrophobia by 90%, and has in-bore lighting allowing the Technologist to have full view of the patient for increased safety. Patients can be scanned feet-first which greatly reduces patient anxiety. Blanket coils, which are lightweight blankets, also improve patient comfort.

For providers, its wide range of imaging capabilities and advanced software allows for multiple contrasts for better detection of pathology enabling more accurate diagnosis and treatment options.

NRMC is the first facility in Louisiana to have this cutting-edge technology.

Our Team

An independent group of radiologists with Access Radiology oversee imaging services at NRMC. They are experienced in interventional services, CT scans, MRI, Nuclear Medicine Imaging, Ultrasound, Women’s Interventional Services, 3D Imaging and more. NRMC radiologic technologists work with radiologists to provide high quality imaging services.
