NRMC Emergency Room Medical Providers

For the past eight (8) years, NRMC has contracted with NES Health to employ and provide continuous medical staffing 24/7 in our Emergency Department.  Due to the unique nature of emergency medicine, it is common practice for most hospitals across the United States to contract with a management company to recruit, hire and staff their emergency departments.

On October 31, 2024, NRMC was informed by NES Health contracted physicians that the company had failed to compensate them for the work they provided to our hospital emergency department. NRMC Leadership immediately began conversations with NES Health to understand the magnitude of this event.  Never in the prior eight years of contracting with NRMC had NES Health failed to compensate the physician group.

Although these physicians are not employees of NRMC, we began paying them earlier this month in order to retain these highly qualified emergency medicine providers.

First and foremost, CARING FOR OUR COMMUNITY is our core purpose at NRMC.  Our goal is to provide high quality care to the communities we serve at NRMC.  During this seamless transition period, the emergency department providers have continued to provide exceptional care without hesitation.
