Natchitoches Regional Medical Center Partners with NES Health
Natchitoches Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that the hospital has signed a three-year partnership agreement with NES Health to provide Emergency Medicine Staffing and Management Services for the hospital’s Emergency Department.
“At NRMC, we want to ensure our patients receive excellent care and service from the moment they arrive at the hospital until they go home,” explained Kirk Soileau, Chief Executive Officer. “A great patient experience is more than a goal to our Associates. It is a mission. That’s why we are pleased to partner with NES Health. For the past 42 years, they have helped hospitals develop strong patient centered care in their Emergency Departments. We value their guidance, experience, and expertise, and as our Emergency Department continues to grow, we know the best practices NES Health can share with us will be key to our ability to best serve our community’s ER needs.”
“Going forward, we believe this new ED partnership aligns with our goals — Exceeding the 95th Percentile in ED Patient Experience Scores as rated by our patients; Becoming a TOP 100 Hospital; and one day earning a Malcom Baldridge Award for service excellence,” explained Soileau. “As always, I want to thank our patients for their continued support of NRMC as we strive to deliver exceptional care to the residents of Natchitoches and the surrounding communities.”
NES Health is 100% physician owned with contracts in 18 states serving EDs from 7,000 to 70,000. Over the past 42 years, NES Health has helped hundreds of emergency departments across the nation from quality of medical care to patient satisfaction. Their experiences are translated into an innovative suite of tools, systems, and programs that enable hospitals to further improve and enhance patient experience.
Natchitoches Regional Medical Center began as a stand-alone community hospital in 1955 and has grown into a 216 bed healthcare system comprised of an acute care facility, skilled nursing home, assisted living complex and an extensive network of clinics throughout the parish. At the heart of the system is the 96-bed regional medical center which employs over 700 Associates. More than 100 active and consulting physicians represent the Medical Staff.
