Soileau Appointed to Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners
Governor John Bel Edwards has reappointed Kirk Soileau, Chief Executive Officer of Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, to the Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners. Soileau was nominated by the Louisiana Hospital Association. This is a reappointment for Soileau who was previously appointed in 2014. The board regulates licensing for Radiologic Technologists in the state.
About the Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners
The Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners consists of 10 Board members. The Louisiana Medical Radiation Health and Safety Act of 1984, R.S.37:3200-3221, provides that, in order to safeguard life and health by preventing excessive and improper exposure to ionizing radiation, any person practicing or offering to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Louisiana shall submit evidence that he or she is qualified to do so.
