Tom Matuschka, Vice President of Business Development and Philanthropy
Tom Matuschka, MNM, CFRE, in his role as Vice President of Business Development and Philanthropy, serves as the Executive Director of the NRMC Foundation, drives business growth initiatives, and supports community improvement activities. Mr. Matuschka also oversees the following key departments and functions: human resources; community outreach; public relations & marketing; information systems; nutritional services; and the volunteer program.
Prior to joining the NRMC team, he spent 9 years as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Asian Hope. Based in Denver, Colorado, the organization protects, educates, and empowers children in Cambodia through innovative education programs aimed at preventing exploitation, supporting family cohesion, and providing a hopeful future. Tom and his family lived in Phnom Penh, Cambodia where he played an instrumental role in day-to-day leadership, strategic vision, and growth in revenue, services and impacted lives. His career also includes 7 years as the Director of Harvest Farm, a program of the Denver Rescue Mission (rural rehabilitation farm and ranch for 72 homeless men struggling with addictions) and 7 years in the business sector in marketing and sales.
A Louisiana native, Mr. Matuschka holds a Masters of Nonprofit Management from Regis University (Denver, CO) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University. He is also a graduate of the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts in Natchitoches. Tom is a Certified Fund Raising Executive by CFRE International. Accredited by the American National Standards Institute, CFRE is the only accredited, globally recognized certification for fundraising professionals.
