Sarah LaCour, Interim Chief Nurse Executive
Sarah LaCour, RN, BSN assumed the role of interim Chief Nurse Executive (CNE) on May 20, 2019. As interim CNE, Mrs. LaCour will oversee nursing services and care delivery for the health system.
Mrs. LaCour joined NRMC in 2005 shortly after her graduation from Northwestern State University with her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing. She has worked in a number of different roles, including: Pediatrics, Post-OP, Surgical Unit, PACU for 3 years, before moving to the Quality Improvement team in 2012. Since 2016, Mrs. LaCour has serves as the Assistant VP of Patient Care Services/Quality Director responsible for Quality Abstracting and Reporting, PI, P&P Committee, OPPE reporting, overseeing the Joint Commission Coordination, LHA HIIN liaison, Lean Six Sigma 555 OR/IP Efficiency team as well as numerous committees and teams throughout the organization.
Sarah earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2016 and anticipates graduating from Chamberlain University with a Master’s of Science in Nursing Leadership degree in September 2019.
