Brent Probasco, Chief Financial Officer

Certified Public Accountant Brent Probasco has joined NRMC as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role Probasco oversees the hospital’s financial performance related to accounting and budgeting, revenue cycle, supply chain, managed care contracting, investments, reimbursements, and more. Interestingly, in Probasco’s first healthcare position, he served as Controller at NRMC from 1999 to 2005.

Previously, Probasco has served as the CFO for Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, Missouri., for 15 years. Among his many accomplishments there, he ensured the hospital reached its budgeted goals, increased cash reserves, and reduced interest expenses. Formerly, he also served as CFO of Hartselle Medical Center in Alabama and as an Assistant CFO at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville, Louisiana.

A graduate of Northwestern State University in Accounting, Probasco began his accounting career with Cole, Evans & Peterson CPAs in Shreveport before entering the health care field. He is a U.S. Army veteran, and he served two tours in Iraq.
