NRMC Welcomes Kassie Williams as Director of Pharmacy
Natchitoches Regional Medical Center welcomes Kassie Williams, Pharm D, as the Director of Pharmacy. Williams is a graduate of the University of Louisiana Monroe College of Pharmacy and is a Doctor of Pharmacy.
“Becoming the Director of Pharmacy combines my enjoyment of math and science, my love for providing quality patient care, and incorporates director responsibilities of pharmacy improvement and motivating others,” said Williams.
In this role, Williams will be responsible for overseeing pharmacy services for NRMC patients, ensuring medication safety, managing compliance with State Board and accreditation agencies, and supervising pharmacy personnel.
“I have two kids who go to school in Natchitoches and participate in community activities. I am looking forward to providing healthcare services for the area I am raising my children in,” continued Williams.
The Natchitoches Regional Medical Center pharmacy department provides medication to every NRMC inpatient person and outpatient clinic, packs and provides medication for skilled patients at the Courtyard of Natchitoches, and staffs a full-time pharmacist at the Cancer Center to be involved in developing treatment plans and counseling oncology patients.
