NRMC Selects Sarah LaCour as Vice President of Quality
Natchitoches Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Sarah LaCour, R.N., to the senior leadership team as Vice President of Quality. She now oversees all aspects NRMC’s quality, risk management, infection prevention, patient safety, regulatory compliance, JCAHO preparation, clinical informatics, patient advocacy, life safety, and grant opportunity services.
For nearly 15 years, Ms. LaCour has been a highly respected member of NRMC’s nursing team. She began her career as a registered nurse in 2005 and has held progressive clinical care positions and several key leadership roles through the years. Since 2016, she has served as the Director of Quality and Assistant CNO. In May of 2019, she continued these responsibilities and also served as the health system’s Interim Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) while the health system completed a national search for a CNO.
Ms. LaCour received her Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Northwestern State University; a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette; and a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership from Chamberlain University.
In addition, Ms. LaCour is nationally recognized as a Certified Professional Healthcare Quality professional. She is credentialled as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and ACLS, MOAB and a Master Trainer in TeamSTEPPS. At NRMC, she was recognized as RN of the Year in 2011 and 2014; and NRMC’s Leader of the Quarter in 2017 and 2019.
