Grief Support Group Formed
The Patient and Family Advisory Council at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the formation of a Grief Support Group for those in our community who have experienced the death of a friend or family member.
The purpose of this group is to provide a safe place where people can learn about the grieving process, share their feelings and experiences, and learn ways to cope and heal.
The group’s goal is to provide spiritual, emotional, and social comfort and support for community members 18 years and older who are grieving the loss of their loved ones. Meetings are free and open to all members of the community.
The Grief Support Group meetings will begin on Thursday, December 13th and then the second Thursday of each month thereafter. The group will meet from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at NRMC’s Legacy Room.
For more information on the Patient and Family Advisory Council or the Grief Support Group, please call Barbara Johnson at (318) 214-4391.
