Steel Magnolia Run
Save the date in your calendar for the 2022 Steel Magnolia Run — Saturday, March 12th — in Natchitoches, Louisiana on the campus of Northwestern State University at the Collins Pavilion.
Check back here in January 2022 for the official race signup link.
Over the years, our participants, sponsors, and volunteers have played an instrumental role in improving the health of the women of our community. The 2019 and 2020 the Runs supported 3D mammography services at NRMC’s new Breast Center. Consequently, Natchitoches now has two state of the art 3D mammography machines. This technology helps doctors find breast cancer at its earliest stages, and early detection saves lives.
The 3rd annual Steel Magnolia Run supported the 2021 NRMC Foundation We Care for Moms & Babies campaign. This campaign:
- Protects moms and babies with state-of-the-art monitoring software and equipment.
- Equips physicians with access to critical health information at any time and from anywhere.
- Improves the labor & delivery experience with new safe, comfortable birthing beds and sleeper chairs.
Run for the Steel Magnolia Moms of our community.
