Recently, a patient was involved in a multi-vehicle wreck, Misty found out that the patient was just trying to get to the grocery store for a few things and was not going to be able to go due to the wreck. She took it upon herself to go get the items that the patient needed. Just a small act of simple kindness, brought the patient to tears, to know that someone cared that much about her. The patient noted on her survey – “I had the most loving and kind staff of nurses, doctors and techs!! Can’t express enough how much I appreciate the care I was given!! Wonderful and kind staff considering all the sadness they see every day! Bananas and blueberries! I love my nurse!”
