Restricted Hospital Visitor Policy

In response to a rise in COVID-19 hospitalizations and case counts, we have implemented the following restricted visitor policy. This applies to all, regardless of vaccination status, according to LA Dept. of Health.

Please note that, for your safety and the safety of our patients, MASKING is strictly enforced for all employees, patients and guests and those unwilling to comply will be asked to leave – no exceptionsMasks must also be worn properly, ensuring that the nose and mouth are covered continuously.

Children under 2 years of age are excluded from masking requirements. Visitors must be at least 12 years of age and always remain in the patient’s room. Visitors are to maintain social distancing at all times, including in waiting rooms, cafeterias and other shared areas.

Surgery Patients
  • Two (2) visitors for duration of stay.
  • Visitors may or may not be able to wait in waiting areas due to social distancing limitations.
  • Visitors should leave phone # to be contacted if waiting elsewhere.
Inpatient Units (including ICU)
  • Two (2) visitors per patient allowed between 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Only one (1) visitor will be allowed to stay overnight.
  • Pediatrics may have (2) visitors overnight.
ED patients
  • One (1) visitor who may or may not be able to wait in waiting areas due to social distancing limitations.
  • Visitor should leave phone # to be contacted if waiting in car.
Labor/ Delivery/ Mother/ Baby
  • Two (2) visitors allowed at one time. Siblings will be allowed.
  • Only one (1) visitor will be allowed to stay overnight.
Clinics/Outpatients/WIC
  • One (1) visitor allowed.
Insights
  • One (1) visitor who will be physically distanced from other pts.
Assisted Living
  • Three (3) visitors physically distanced in patient rooms/ areas.
COVID-19 Patients
  • One (1) visitor allowed between 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Visitors must remain in the patient’s room at all times, wearing appropriate PPE, which will be provided to you.
  • Exceptions will be made for end of life.
